Can you do a re-roof in the winter?
Yes. EZIROOF checks the weather forecast every morning. Whether it is Summer or Winter we will be able to put your new roof on. For a longrun roof we will only remove as much of the old roofing material that we will be able to replace that same day.
What is the warranty on a Colorsteel roof verse a Plain Zinclaume roof?
Colorsteel: 30 year warranty
Plain Zincalume: 15 year warranty
(moderate and inland exposures against perforation through corrosion)
How long does the average re-roof take?
A re-roof usually takes between two and five days depending on the size of the roof. We will let you know how long we expect it to take when you book in a job with us.
How much notice do I need to give you before you will come and put on my new roof?
We average between two days and three weeks. When you book a job in with us we will be able to give you an estimated time of arrival then. The more notice you can give us the better as we are influenced by the weather but we will keep in touch with you and let you know if the rain/frosts or the wind has delayed us in any way.
What’s the difference between Plain Zincalume and Galvanised roofing?
Both have a shiny silver finish but Plain Zinclaume has a 15 year warranty and Galvanised has no warranty.
What’s the best kind of roof?
Different kinds of roofing are suited to different environments and varing roof designs. We will be able to recommend the best options for you, just contact us and we will come and have a look at your plans, home, commercial building or extension.
Can you put the plywood down for the butyl rubber membrane roofing to go on?
Yes. We have a full time builder who knows exactly how to install your roofing substrate so you will have a full warranty on your new Butyl roof. We make it easy!
Can you fix any rotten timber in our roof if you find some when you take off our old roof and/or straighten our sagging roof line?
Yes. Our roofers are trained to notify you immediately if they find rotten timber and get our builder out straight away if you want it replaced. We strongly recommend it as your roof may leak if our fixings have nothing secure to fix to. If your roof line has sagged, your new roof will look a lot better if you straighten it up at the same time as putting on your new roof.
Can you install Pink Batts at the same time as installing our new roof?
Yes, we do this on a regular basis. It’s the perfect time to install the batts while the roof is off.
Can you clean out our gutters?
